New Queensland road rules for safely passing cyclists - video transcript

This is a transcript of the New Queensland road rules for safely passing cyclists video on Council's YouTube account.

New Queensland road rules now require a minimum of one metre to safely pass cyclists on a road of sixty kilometres per hour or less.

Now that’s some good driving.

On roads with speed limits higher than sixty kilometres per hour, this passing distance is one point five metres.

Share the road. Stay wider of the rider.
