Description: 

Starting from Balmoral Park in Morningside, this is one of the most scenic commutes. This ride travels alongside Wynnum Road on the shared pathway and onto Laidlaw Parade along the river. Through the backstreets past the University of New England, you will be able to access the shared pathway along Shafston Avenue and up to Deakin Avenue as you approach the iconic Story Bridge.

Cross under the bridge at Rotherham Street and head down Main and Thornton Streets on to the shared pedestrian Kangaroo Point Bikeway, taking you along the river and past the Kangaroo Point cliffs. The bikeway continues up past the Maritime Museum and over the Kurilpa Bridge or down on to the Clem Jones Promenade and along the river through Southbank before heading up and around on to the Victoria Bridge in to the CBD.
