Description:

See Brisbane’s famous Story Bridge and Kangaroo Point Cliffs from a new angle! This ride commences at CityCycle Station no. 131 on Shafston Avenue, Kangaroo Point. Heading north towards Dockside ferry terminal, the ride follows the waterfront pathway through Kangaroo Point and under the Story Bridge to Captain Burke Park. From there, continue on to the Kangaroo Point Bikeway. If you’re riding when there is limited light, you’ll experience the new lighting along the pedestrian/cycle path that connects the Thornton Street ferry terminal and Bright Street in Kangaroo Point.

Passing by Brisbane’s iconic Kangaroo Point Cliffs, the ride follows on past the Queensland Maritime Museum and once again on to the waterfront views of South Bank and the Clem Jones Promenade. You can grab a snack and coffee on the run by stopping in to see our Cycling Brisbane sponsor, Espresso Garage, in South Bank. The ride ends with a loop up to the Kurilpa Bridge and across the water into the city at CityCycle Station no. 28 on George Street.

This ride has been designed and mapped for CityCycles and start and end at CityCycle stations.
