TRACTION's mission is to empower young people in need. Its Community Bike Build Program provides the chance for young people in need to restore bicycles donated by the community whilst being supported by volunteers who provide support and positive role models during their participation.

TRACTION is a community-based program helping young people discover, connect and experience their own positive and successful futures. Traction understands that everybody learns differently and that some students don’t realise their full potential in a classroom. That is why the program offers young people the chance to participate in an alternative, action based learning environment while being supported by encouraging relationships, community and employment opportunities.

The TRACTION program aims to impart lifelong skills and a sense of pride and achievement to students to set them on a positive future path.

TRACTION workshops run on a variety of days during the week. Visitors, those with bicycles to donate or interested in volunteering, are always welcome by appointment.
