There are dozens of bike paths and routes that will take you along beachside foreshores, through parklands, nature reserves and of course beside the centre piece of our city, the Brisbane River.
As a new bike rider, you may feel more comfortable riding on pathways. It is important to understand Brisbane’s pathway network to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for both bike riders and pedestrians. Remember that, in Queensland, it is legal to ride on the footpath provided you keep left and give way to pedestrians.
