BMX riding

""

BMX riding is an outdoor sport the whole family can enjoy. Visit your local BMX track to learn to ride, practice new tricks, improve your bike skills, or to get ready for BMX racing. To find out more about BMX riding in Brisbane and how to become a registered BMX rider, contact BMX Queensland.

BMX racing is also an Olympic sport, and Brisbane has a number of venues where you can practise your skills or learn to ride a BMX bike for fun.

BMX facilities in Brisbane

Council has 20 parks across Brisbane offering BMX facilities for fitness, fun and recreation. BMX facilities cater for different skill levels, but generally consist of dirt tracks, with some offering built-up dirt hills and various types of jumps. You can also ride your BMX bike in some Brisbane skate parks.

Sleeman Sports Complex Supercross Track

The Sleeman Sports Complex features a new state of the art BMX Supercross Track. The track includes two start ramps with major double-jumps, step ups and a technical ‘rhythm' section.

Free BMX skills

Council’s Chillout program also hosts BMX coaching clinics to teach a variety of skills, including skate park etiquette. Whether you're just starting or an expert rider, there are skills sessions catered to all riders as a part of the program.
