Leisure riding

Brisbane is an excellent place to explore by bike, with an extensive and growing network of bikeways. Some of the city’s best leisure destinations – parks, pools, markets, cafes and nature reserves - are often located along a bikeway. Or just ride along one of our more scenic paths and soak up the pleasure of being outdoors.

If you don’t fancy riding to your chosen route, you can take your bike on CityCats and other Council ferries at all times, and on CityTrains at all times in the first and last carriages of six-car trains.

Leisure and family rides

Choose from the selection of bikeways and routes that will take you along beachside foreshores, through parklands, nature reserves and beside the Brisbane River.

Brisbane by Bikeway

If it’s been awhile since you were out on a bike, join our friendly and experienced trainers to brush up on your riding skills and enjoy a guided ride along some of Brisbane's best bikeways.
