Riding to work video transcript

This is a transcript of the Riding to work video on Council's YouTube account.

Riding a bike is a great way to reduce stress while heightening mental clarity, which makes it the perfect mode of transport to get to and from work.

And, it costs you less!

With the Cycling Brisbane route planner, riding to work has never been easier.

But before you saddle up, do your research otherwise you might just be ‘all the gear’ and no idea!

It’s a good idea to scope out the end-of-trip facilities that are available at your work, and make sure you have a solution for helmet hair!

Also, note that riding clothes probably aren’t appropriate office attire.

Remember if you’re unsure of anything, ask someone at work who already rides.

Bicycle Queensland can also find you a buddy to help you find your way during your first week.
