Sharing the space video transcript

This is a transcript of the Sharing the space video on Council's YouTube account.

As more people enjoy Brisbane’s network of pathways, it’s important that we all know how to share them.

That way we can all get where we’re going safely.

In Queensland, it’s legal to ride a bike on the footpath, but footpaths are for walkers too, so remember, they have the right of way.

Of course, you can also ride on our roads so when you’re driving, remember when overtaking that one metre matters and to check your mirrors before opening any doors.

Every little bit helps keep all of us safe.
