Distance:
5.3km
Climb:
31m
Description:

Discover a quick and easy way to get into the city via a dedicated bike path that runs from Eight Mile Plaints to South Brisbane, parallel to the South East Freeway. Beginning at CityCycle Station no. 124 near the Red Brick Hotel, the ride crosses Annerley Road (safely, at the lights) and heads up Abingdon Street and on to the South East Freeway Bikeway.

This ride brings you to the edge of South Bank and then across the Goodwill Bridge and alongside the CBD Continue along the route, or stop off to discover Brisbane’s City Hall, have lunch or do a spot of shopping at the Queen Street Mall.

From there, you will be able to enjoy more of Brisbane’s scenery as you ride along one of Brisbane’s most recognisable bike paths, the Bicentennial Bikeway. The bikeway takes you around the edge of the river and ends at the base of the Go-Between Bridge, at CityCycle Station no. 133.

This ride has been designed and mapped for CityCycles and start and end at CityCycle stations.
